Project Overview

Vectour provided comprehensive shuttle services for Summerfest 2021, celebrated as “The World’s Largest Music Festival,” located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Objectives

Vectour was tasked with planning and operating an efficient transportation system that would not only handle the logistical demands of large crowd management but also enhance the festival experience through strategic planning and community collaboration. The objectives included:

  • System Planning and Operation: Vectour took charge of planning and operating the overall delivery of the bus transportation system for Summerfest, ensuring a streamlined process from start to finish.
  • Park and Ride Recommendations: We made strategic recommendations on park and ride locations to increase the efficiency of the shuttle system, reducing wait times and improving attendee satisfaction.
  • Bus Allocation and Procurement: Vectour determined and procured the appropriate number of buses to keep rider wait times at 20 minutes or less, managing a fleet of 60 buses adeptly tailored to the event’s needs.
