Our History

With a history dating back over 40 years, Vectour’s roots are in the transportation industry. Starting with Reggie Haslam Sr., the company’s leadership played a critical role in providing transportation services for some of the world’s biggest moments–from sold-out tours for the Jackson 5 to record-breaking Olympic Games. In later years, the company has diversified into a range of service offerings.

1977

1977- Reggie Haslam, Sr. founded Travel Eagle Tours with $1000 saved from working his bag handler job at Delta Airlines. At the time, Reggie was the first Black person in the country to operate custom entertainer tour buses

1994

1994- Services expanded to include major event
transportation services with the founding of Haslam Custom Coach

1996

1996- Haslam provides the transportation services 80% of all corporate sponsors during the 1996 Olympics Games in Atlanta. Some of their clients included Coca-Cola, General Motors, Delta Airlines, Kodak, others

2010

2010- The company performs the largest cross border operations of bus and driver management services for a major event during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver

2011

2011- Company name is changed to Vectour Group to reflect strategic service expansion

2012

2012- Vectour provides the bus shuttle management service for the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte Vectour managed the bus and logistics service for the Coca-Cola Company during the 2012 Summer Olympics. This marks the 4th Olympic Game that Haslam, Sr. is involved in

2014

2014- Vectour expands into employee shuttle service market. Wins multi-year contract to provide employee shuttle services to the Georgia Power Company

2015

2015- Vectour expands into facilities support market. Begins cleaning work at Cobb County Transit bus facilities

2018

2018- Marks 10 years of performing shuttle and staffing services for the Magic City Classic in Birmingham

2018

Provided event transportation for the Equal Justice Initiative Legacy Museum launch weekend as well as the March For Our Lives national bus tour

2020

Provided emergency cleaning services to transit agencies during the Covid-19 pandemic. Provided fleet and staffing services for the 2020 Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee

2021

Provided event transportation services during the Biden Presidential Inauguration week, as well as Summerfest in Milwaukee. Launched facility cleaning services, scheduling and dispatching services for MARTA. Expanded fleet logistics services to the CobbLinc Transit Service

2022

Managed the spectator transportation service for the City of Birmingham in support of the 2021 World Games

2022

Began bus shuttle management services in partnership with SP+ at the world’s busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
