Vectour provided comprehensive fan and staff shuttle services for the City of Birmingham and Major League Baseball (MLB) during the MLB at Rickwood Field: A Tribute to the Negro Leagues event. This special event, celebrating the history and legacy of the Negro Leagues, attracted thousands of baseball fans and production staff. Over the course of a week, Vectour successfully transported over 8,000 fans and production staff to and from the historic Rickwood Field.

The primary goal for this event was to provide efficient, safe, and reliable shuttle services for fans and production staff, ensuring smooth transportation operations and enhancing the overall experience of this historic tribute.
Managing transportation for over 8,000 fans and production staff required precise planning and coordination.
Navigating transportation logistics for an event held at a historic site with limited infrastructure.
Coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including city officials, MLB representatives, and local transit authorities, to ensure smooth operations.
Developed detailed transportation plans in collaboration with the City of Birmingham, MLB representatives, and local transit authorities. Implemented efficient shuttle routes and schedules to accommodate the high volume of attendees, ensuring timely and convenient access to Rickwood Field.
Deployed a fleet of 60 motor coaches to transport fans and production staff to and from Rickwood Field. Ensured all vehicles were well-maintained and ready to provide reliable service throughout the event, with regular inspections and maintenance checks.
Managed a team of over 80 skilled drivers and operational staff to oversee transportation operations and provide on-site support, ensuring quick resolution of any issues. Coordinated with local authorities and security personnel to ensure the safety and security of all shuttle services.
